So the units are a little big and heavy to be truly portable. But they do work great and battery goes forever. Wife suffers from hot flashes and this does a great job of blowing a small wind tunnel in her direction. They work much better than the other small personal fans we have bought. When on high it is a bit load but that has not been too big of a deal for her.
If you are looking for a small portable fan in a hot place this is the one, I bought this one because I already have one but is not powerful enough, this one is very powerful and it will cool you down quickly, the only downside is that is a bit noisy not that much though at least for me.
Ordered mine back in Sept 2022 .. I used it a few times and found that more often than not, if I had it clipped to my belt, my shirt would fold-over around the shirt clip and still block airflow, because the clip was only a few inches deep, and not deep enough to let the shirt hang down. So, what you have to end up doing is bunching up your shirt, and putting it in the clip. When the fan is on the lanyard it works okay, but the angle is a bit too steep to hit where it needs to. all-in-all it works okay, but could use some R&D.

Instructions were very nice, and written well. I do think that they should work on the Tech Support side a little – an email for “[email protected]” is not really a ‘Business Appropriate’ email… If they wanted to do something like ‘[email protected]’ I would find that more agreeable, but this seems a little slap-dash thrown together and shady.
I used this a few times in the late summer of 2022. I pulled it out again in the Spring of 2023. I saw it had 2 levels of battery left, out of three, (34-66% Battery Power, according to the manual) and decided to charge it. When I hooked it up, using the same cable I use to charge my phone, through my computer, the battery made a loud screeching noise, and then all the lights began to slowly flicker. As I was reaching to unplug it, the lights all cut out and the unit died. After that, no matter what cable or what power source I tried, the unit would not come back on or charge. Not sure what happened internally, but clearly the battery shorted out.
I have an update for this product. I originally posted that it would not fully charge. I found out that you need a charger that puts out a higher wattage in order to charge this. After that, it works great.
The fan worked great the handful of times I used it. It was very powerful and did exactly as described. I was even impressed how long the battery would last on a charge. My one criticism is that the power button was designed in a way that made it very easy to be turned on inadvertently. It is because of the design flaw (I think) that the fan has died exactly one year after purchasing it. I believe the fan turned on while in my bag and overheated due to lack of ventilation. I’m skeptical of buying this fan again unless the power button is redesigned.
I’m a bus mechanic, which means I work in the heat of the summer all day. Therefore, I was looking for something like this. I bought it and used it all last summer.
On low or medium, the battery lasts the entire shift. On high, it still lasts a long time, but maybe not the entire day. I charged it up and put it away for the winter, and when I took it out of the box this summer, it still had a full charge. I’m genuinely impressed.
Some other people on Amazon said their batteries went bad after a few months, so I bought the extended warranty. But so far my battery is still holding a charge like when I first got it.
Obviously, it’s not like having an air conditioner. Nonetheless, it does a great job of keeping hot air from being trapped under my shirt. Therefore much of the sweat on my front or back (depending on where I position it) evaporates.
The only downside has been that since it sits on my belt, it obviously can get in the way sometimes. So I reposition it when needed. Overall I love this little fan and am really glad to have it.
*Updated* 8/12/22 The thing died and won’t charge at all, and there’s no way to open it to replace a battery. What a bummer. I’ve been using this fan for a few years now and it still works great. I use it for an entire 8 to 12-hour shift but that’s only if you use it on the low to medium setting. On high, it’s about 3 to 4 hours. I have dropped it a few times and no issues so it is durable. It also functions as a portable charger but I primarily use it for the fan. At the end of the day, it’s a fan, it’s nice you have air blown point blank on you when it’s 100 degrees so it does help.

What I like about this fan is that the battery life is long compared to the neck fan that I bought from Amazon as well, it would have been nice if it’s lighter, the strap that came along with it is not that durable and the belt is small, I just hope that they made it a little bit bigger. The fan is just perfect for my work because it’s so hot in the kitchen especially with all the equipment on., hopefully this fan will last long.
This is my first portable waist clip fan and after using it for some time I can definitely recommend it. The battery life is good, with the fan on the medium setting I can get about 6 hours of use and it is pretty lightweight. It charges a bit slowly but it can also charge my phone which is a plus.
