Spain follows the time zone of Greenwich Mean Time by adding one hour in winter and two hours in summer, however if you are decide to take Spanish lessons in the Canary Islands, note that there it is always one hour earlier.

If you are visiting any city in Spain, be advised that breakfast is served between 7:00 and 10:30 am, lunch between 13:00 and 15:30 and dinner between 20:30 and 23:00 hours. Shops open from 9:00 to 14:00 and in the afternoon from 17:00 to 20:00 hours. These timetables may vary depending on the geographic area. Malls are open from 10:00 to 22:00 hours non-stop.

Spanish nightlife is very intensive, as pubs and bars stay open until 3:00 or 4:00 am and clubs are usually open until dawn.
