All of us at DIME want you to fit in here in Barcelona: our courses are designed so that you will learn to communicate in Spanish from the very first day.

Methodology in Spanish courses
We have a number of different courses here in Escuela Dime. All of them follow the communicative method - that is, from the very beginning you will understand, read, write and above all speak in Spanish. The teachers know your needs as a Spanish student, and will teach you the use of the language in a variety of real-world contexts - in this way you’ll be able to put the Spanish you learned in class into practice outside the classroom. In a short time, you will be able to deal easily with Barcelona and its people, going about your daily routine in a calm and easy manner, using the Spanish language as the means of communication.
What interests us is you. We believe we can teach better by taking into account your needs, learning pace and your daily routine. For this reason we work in small groups (3 to 8 students per class.)
We use a textbook at each level as well as teacher-supplied supplemental material along with various activities (role-plays, games, audio, movie screenings, readings, newspaper articles, commentary, etc.) This helps to create a good dynamic that speeds the pace of learning. Course textbooks are included in the price of 4-weekor longer courses

Dime is a small and friendly Spanish school, with teachers that are always friendly and welcoming. It is really a lot more than a school, because you feel very much at home and you get very good relationships with the teachers and the other students right from the first day.
It is by far the best language school I have been to, and I have not heard of anyone in Barcelona that have had as good an experience with any other schools. Also, I have learned Spanish a lot faster than expected, and I have quickly gained a lot of confidence in the language, which is all due to the school and the way they teach there.
I have taken evening classes at Dime for a year now, right from when I first arrived in Barcelona, and I still enjoy it a lot. The best things about the school are that the classes are small, that there are so many fun activities to join, and most importantly, that the teachers are very enthusiastic and happy all the time.
It is always the highpoint of my day when I have classes at Dime :)

Dime is a spectacular school and I think it is probably the best one in Barcelona. The teachers are truly amazing and they manage to make the classes both fun and productive, they push you to do your best with creating and different ways. I really appreciated the focus on teaching students the language as the Spanish speak it, daily usage, normal phrases and so on. The atmosphere is great and that has a lot to do with the effort the staff puts into planing events and getting to know their students. I am so glad I chose to go Dime, miss these guys a lot!!
