Spanish School general description
EUREKA is a school whose sole objective is teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Since 1988 Eureka has been a school whose main purpose is teaching Spanish as a foreign language. We are endorsed by the Instituto Cervantes, the highest quality label for Spanish as a foreign language certificates. We are located in the heart of Madrid, 150 meters walking from the Palacio Real, the Plaza Mayor and the Puerta Del Sol.
Since 1988 thousands of students have studied at our school. We offer a relaxed and warm atmosphere where students can enjoy and learn one of the most important languages in the world.

Methodology in Spanish courses
We use our own method designed by our teachers and staff. This method combines a structural system to learn grammar and a comunicative system to become fluent. It is a method based on direct contact between teacher and student so it creates a relaxed atmosphere in which learning comes in a natural way and it is thus reinforced by practice and communication.
Spanish courses in Eureka
We offer two types of courses: Intensive or Combined (both with a maximum of 8 students per class).
Intensive Spanish Courses:
- 20 hours per week. - from 09:00 to 13:00
09:00-11.00 Grammar 2 hours
11:00-11.30 Break
11.30-13.00 Oral expression and vocabulary 1 hour and 30 minutes
Most of schools offer 45 minutes per lesson, a 3 hour/day formula.
We have a different system. Here you have classes from 9.00 to 11.00 and from 11.00 to 13.00 so you have half an hour more each day. This means you have plus 2 hours and 30 minutes more per week, almost one more day per week comparing with other schools.
- 30 hours per week. - from 09:00 to 13:00 + from 14:20 to 16:00
Combined courses:
- A) 20 hours per week + 1 private lesson. - from 09:00 to 13:00 + 14:20 to 15:15
- B) 20 hours per week + 2 private lessons. - from 09:00 to 13:00 + 14:20 to 16:10
Most of the schools offer 45 minutes per lesson. That means that the actual duration of class is 3 hours a day. With our schedule, students have 3 and a half hours a day. That means that in a week they get 2 and a half more hours, almost one more day of class.

Transfers connections, students accommodation and other services
The school offers a transfer service from the airport to your accomodation. This service has a cost of 50 €.
EUREKA offers students different kinds of accommodation: shared appartment in the same building where the school is (Shared Appartment A), shared appartments in the shared appartments in the same street where the school is or 10 minutes away by public transport (Shared Appartment B), studios and family stay.

Booking and payment for your Spanish course
You will need to pay a deposit in order to book your course. This deposit can be paid by bank transfer or with a credit card. The rest of the course can be paid on the first day of class in cash or with a credit card.
