Our methodology, as dictated by the CEFR, is action-oriented. What does this mean? It is very simple; for example, if you want to learn to ride a bike you can study the components of the bike, the parts of your body, the muscles that are exercised, or the complex laws of physics and dynamics that come into play for the bicycle to move forward and also for us to get balance. Is this the most effective way to learn how to ride a bike? We believe that the most effective is really to get directly on the bike and start pedaling, and yes, we may fall, but we will stand up and continue pedaling.

Focusing this idea to learning the Spanish language, this is what we mean by action-oriented methodology: we learn to speak by speaking and to write, by writing. And of course, analyzing the mistakes we make to learn and profit from them.

So our course schedules are designed from solving everyday tasks. These can only be solved using Spanish correctly and according to the communicative situation that requires each task. This will involve training exercises to help overcome language difficulties and directed towards the resolution of a task or project based on each level.

And besides, who has not had a good time learning to ride a bike? We believe that learning a foreign language does not have to be boring, so our Spanish courses are formulated to learn in a pleasant and motivating way. Come with us to live this experience!

Our training consists of a total of 7 courses designed from the recommendations of the CEFR and the Programme of studies of the Cervantes Institute . These Courses are organized into three sections: INITIAL: A1,1, A1.2, A2 INTERMEDIATE: B1, B2 ADVANCED: C1.1, C1.2 To pass an entire level from those described in the table above, it is necessary to attend class for 3 full weeks (with a minimum of 75 % attendance). However, you can choose the number of weeks you want to attend, and if you have not completed a level, you will be given a certificate of attendance. During your stay in Pontevedra , you will have the opportunity to combine academic activity with sports, culture and leisure in order to live in a situation of language immersion to acquire Spanish in a more rapid, efficient and durable way. In addition to this offer, we can also create courses tailored to your needs , adapting to your schedule or working specifically contents or Spanish´s skills that you might need for academic, labour, or other reasons. The assessment is carried out through projects and papers done throughout the course, combined with the completion of a test after completion of a full level, and consisting of a 2- hour written part, and a 10-15 minutes oral interview. Students who successfully get through the course will be granted a certificate stating the level achieved, the skills acquired and the mark obtained (on a scale of 5-10).
