The Colegio de España is an Academic Institution with highly qualified teachers, with many years of experience in the classrooms, whose primary aim to teach Spanish Language and Hispano-American and Spanish Culture to students and Spanish language teachers.

The Colegio de España is situated inside a historic building, built during the seventeenth century, right in the monumental centre of Salamanca, at only two minutes walking distance from its famous Plaza Mayor. Amongst its facilities, apart from seven classrooms, there is a room for audiovisuals and conferences; a library and lecture room; a multimedia room with last generation equipment and WIFI access in the whole building.

The Colegio is a member of FEDELE (Federación Española de Centros de Enseñanza de Español), of AITIPE (Asociación Internacional de Traductores, Intérpretes y Profesores de Español) and of AEECYL (Asociación de Escuelas de Español de Castilla y León).
It features its own Publishing House, Ambos Mundos, dedicated, among others,to the publication of books for Spanish Language Teaching to foreigners (Los Verbos Españoles, Ser y Estar, Las Perífrasis Verbales, El Indicativo, Las Preposiciones en Español, etc.).

In class students will work on the four basic skills (oral comprehension and expression, written comprehension and expression), without forgetting the grammar , which will serve as a support for Spanish Language Learning.

Lodging
The Colegio de España not only makes a great effort to offer high-quality courses, but also to make the stay of our students in Salamanca perfect in all ways. Therefore, one of our fundamental priorities is to find you a comfortable lodging.
Students can choose between the following options for the lodging:
• Host family (home stay)
• Shared Flat
• University Residence
• Hotel
All lodgings have been carefully selected both for their comfort and security as well as their proximity to the centre of the city, and therefore, to our Colegio (between 5-15 minutes walking to the Colegio).
The Colegio de España offer students to change their lodging in case, for any reason, he/she would not be satisfied with the chosen option.

Transfer
The Colegio also offers a pick-up service (transfer) directly from the airport.

Medical Insurance
The Colegio de España offers the students the possibility to buy a Medical Insurance, if they wish to do so.

Students who wish to reserve any of these options, should specify this on their inscription form.

To enroll for any of our courses, students should send the inscription through fax or email to info@colegioespana.com. In both cases, he/she should specify his/her personal details (name and last name, address and send a copy of the passport, identity card or visa), course chosen, start and end date of the course, and if he/she needs lodging (lodging chosen, date of arrival and date of departure).

Payment can be done by wire transfer or credit card.
