Learn Spanish with the music: David Bisbal, the success of humility

His songs are known all over the world and he has been piling up success after success in and outside Spain, so it is certain that any student who comes to undertake a Spanish course in Spain has heard some of his songs.

David Bisbal started his career in the music world when he was18 ina famous orchestra in Almería called Orquestra Expresiones. It is in 2001 when he started to be famous after his participation in the first edition of Operación Tiunfo, a television competition where the face of Spain at the Eurovision would be selected between 16 competitors, and David Bisbal finished second.

That is when a new life started for the artist and in 2002 he published his first album ‘Corazon Latino’, which became very successful in Spain and opened the doors to Spanish speaking countries, such as Argentina and Mexico.

His first cd gave him wings to become one of the artists with biggest scope in the Latin music world and with the second, ‘Bulería’, he succeeded in selling more than a million copies and to have 114 concerts for 15 different countries, with his Buleria Tour.

In 2006 ‘Premonición’ came out, an album which rapidly became a national and international hit, getting to perform in countries such as Germany and Japan. In 2009 he published his last cd until now, ‘Sin Mirar Atrás’, which includes one of the most successful singles from David during his entire career, Esclavo de sus besos, reaching number 1 sales and radios in Spain, USA and Latin America.

This long way was rewarded with many national and international prizes, such as the Latino Grammy for the revelation artist, the World Music Award for the best latin artist in the world and the Premio Ondas for the best national artist. Also, he colaborated with artists such as Rihanna, Luis Fonsi, Miley Cyrus and Don Omar, and he was in charge of singing one of the biggest themes during the football Worldcup in South Africa.

Make the most of it by learning Spanish while listening to Spanish singers such as David Bisbal, and if someday you have the chance that the singer performs a concert in the city where your Spanish school is located, do not hesitate to go and enjoy it.
